Jennifer Ragonese is an educator and reading specialist working in Newark, New Jersey. She is determined to help every student to read better, as life long learners.

Recently, Jen wrote an article for teachers needing guidance on LGBTQIA+ materials for their students. Stoneroller proudly designed it so Jen could offer it to educators as a free download.

Jen found in her research that there are no materials for early readers that reflect the lives of children in all sorts of families. She wrote a decodable book and we were honored to illustrate and lay it out.
