Why wouldn’t I just hire a full-time designer, freelancer, or agency?
We get it—full-time designers are expensive, agencies are slow, and freelancers can be distracted. Stoneroller is the "just-right" option: a flexible, no-strings-attached subscription you can pause whenever. You get design help when you need it, without the long-term commitment.
What kinds of organizations do you work with?
We specialize in doers of good! We work with mission-driven folks who uplift others! We have 25 years of experience in education, religion, the arts, and nonprofits. If you're making the world a better place, we're here to help.
How long will each project take?
Most projects are done in three business days or less! For more complex tasks, we'll agree on a timeline together. No cutting corners—just focused, quality work. As long as you are actively giving feedback, we work to serve.
What if I don’t like the design?
No worries! We’ll revise until you’re happy. Your feedback is gold, and we’ll polish the work until it shines.
What if I only have one request?
No problem! You can pause your subscription when you’re done and come back when you need more.
How do I request designs?
All design requests go through your Trello Client Portal. Add notes, images, whatever you’ve got, and we’ll take it from there—no endless email chains or lost notes!
Is there a limit to how many requests I can make?
Nope! Request away. We’ll tackle them one by one, with laser focus. When one is done, we leap to the next. If you need us to shift focus, you can rearrange projects.
Do you take meetings or use Slack?
We prefer to work asynchronously. Less chatting, more designing! All communication happens in Trello, right next to your projects.
How does the pause feature work?
Need a break? Pause your subscription anytime. If you used 21 days this month, you’ll have 10 left to use whenever you’re ready. Simple as that!
What kind of design do you create?
We cover branding, strategy, print materials, and websites!
Do you offer refunds?
Sorry, no refunds. We pride ourselves on great communication and quality work, so we recommend starting with a monthly plan to test the waters. Happy to chat beforehand if you want to make sure we’re a good fit!
